Boudreaux was not restrained and sustained fatal injuries as a result of the crash. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Ascension Parish Coroner’s Office. Castro was properly restrained and was not injured. Impairment is suspected on the part of Boudreaux and a toxicology sample will be taken for analysis.
