Monday June 18 update: According to Chief Deputy Bobby Webre, an initial autopsy report showed no signs of foul play in the death of 39-year-old Julie Moak who went missing from Gonzales last week. The West Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office and the APSO began a joint investigation after Moak’s body was found in Port Allen late Friday night. Deputies are still waiting on other forensics and toxicology reports, added Chief Deputy Webre. This investigation is ongoing.
The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for 39-year-old Julie Moak who was reported missing by a family member, according to Chief Deputy Bobby Webre.
Moak was last seen on Wednesday, June 13 by family members driving a silver 2008 Infiniti G 35 bearing license plate 100 ASU.

Saturday Update: According to Chief Deputy Bobby Webre the body of the missing woman, 39-year-old Julie Moak was found Friday night in West Baton Rouge. Detectives with the APSO are now working with the West Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office to continue the investigation. An autopsy is pending and more information may be available at a later date.
