Does anyone still say "There's an app for that?" Because if not, an app has just launched services in the Gonzales and Baton Rouge areas that seems perfect for it.
Takl is an app that connects providers and users for help with on-demand chores. A statement was sent to the press recently saying that the company has included Louisiana as part of its continuing national rollout.
"The app is now available in 24 states and 33 major metropolitan areas," states the e-mail. "Takl has signed up thousands of local home service providers across America to perform small jobs and chores on-demand for homes and businesses."
The website shows services available in categories such as Auto & Boat, Housekeeping, Electronics, Handyman, Haul Away, and Moving. The release also mentions lawn care.
“Takl is now coast-to-coast with our on-demand platform that provides quick help to customers for small jobs with our easy-to-use app,” Takl Chairman and CEO Willis Johnson stated in an email. “We are excited to begin service in the Gonzales area.”
The official statement continues: "Takl is an on-demand, pre-priced mobile platform in the app marketplace." It claims to be the only one like it. Moreover, the statement adds that the self-employed providers performing services will have passed background checks.
“We make it quick and easy to connect providers and customers for chores at a reasonable price – that seems to speak to people right at the heart of their lives. Everyone wants to save time and have a less stressful home life,” Johnson said in the email.
Moreover, it appears that jobs may be available with Takl. For more information visit www.takl.com.
