The Church in St. Amant hosted a donation for a local shelter to assist in flood recovery efforts on Sept. 9. MOOYAH Burgers, Fries & Shakes COO Michael Mabry, as well as local owners in Gonzales, Metairie, New Orleans and Baton Rouge were at The Church to help with the donations and donate 1,200 pounds of beef - which is enough to assemble 4,000 to 5,000 burgers.

The local owners of MOOYAH, Chuck and Denise Kerr as well as Khai and Kaleb Duong, were at The Church to help unload the delivery and assist in relief efforts for the day. From there, The Church used the donated beef to cook for the area families in need.
