Starting this weekend, St. Amant ace pitcher Blayne Enlow will be in Houston, taking part in the USA Baseball 18U National Team Trials.

Enlow made the first cut back in June when he showcased his skills in Cary, N.C. In a field of 108 of the best high-school baseball players in the country, Enlow made the 40-man squad. He was the only player from Louisiana to do so.

He will now compete in the team trials from Sept. 17-23. If he makes the final cut, he will officially become a member of the 20-man 18U National Team—which will compete in the COPABE Pan American Games in Monterrey, Mexico, starting on Sept. 30.
