The Church International will be hosting a “Post Flood Guidance” workshop for anyone who was effected by the recent devastating flood. The workshop will be held on Sat., Aug. 20 at The Church in St. Amant.
Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m., and the workshop will begin at 9 a.m. The workshop will consist of guidance with “lessons learned from Katrina," working with FEMA, SBA, and insurance, “how to’s” and a Q&A.
The Church International is partnering with NOLA Tree Project on the initiative. The mission of NOLA Tree Project is growing stronger, healthier communities through tree plantings and community service projects! Over the past 10 years the mission of Nola Tree Project (formerly Hike for KaTREEna) has been to replant the 100,000 trees lost to Hurricane Katrina. With the help of 65,000 volunteers we have planted over 30,000 and have become the Region’s leading tree organization.
