The Ascension Parish Tourism Commission will host Taste of Ascension from July 13-26.
This two-week dining event will include these restaurants Café Lafourche, Carli-Co Café, DeAngelo’s, Don’s Seafood, Galvez Seafood, Grapevine, Mike Andersons, Houmas House-Café Burnside, Mulligan’s Grill at Pelican Point Golf Club, Pelican Landing Grill, On the Half Shell, Sno’s Seafood, Tee Wayne’s Cajun Cookin’, The Cabin Restaurant and The Coffee House.
Participating restaurant menus are listed at TasteofAscension.com. Restaurants feature specially priced offers and fixed-price menu selections. The meals have set prices and will vary in courses.
The Ascension Parish Tourism Commission will print recipe cards from the submission to be distributed to customers at the restaurant.
Each participating restaurant has the opportunity to submit one recipe of its featured dish, which may be chosen for distribution across the country.
