Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office is actively seeking information to identify a suspect who stole golf clubs from the Pelican Point Golf Shop, according to Lt. Col. Bobby Webre.

On November 16, a white male described as possibly being in his 50’s is captured on surveillance video entering the Pelican Point Golf Shop wearing a light multi colored Hawaiian style short sleeve shirt and dark colored slacks.  While in the store, the male subject purchased several small items, and then walks to the golf club display. While the store clerk is attending to other customers, the white male picks up golf clubs from the display and shoves them inside his pants leg and then leaves the store. The same subject returns a short time later and places more golf clubs down his pants and then leaves the store. The subject took a total of four golf clubs worth a total value of $1,448.97.
