Child Advocacy Services’ Ascension Parish CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) program is looking for volunteers to be the voice for children in the community who have been victims of abuse and/or neglect. CASA depends on volunteers to make a difference in the lives of these innocent children. Currently there are 14 children in Ascension parish waiting for someone to be their voice.

CASA training for Ascension Parish volunteers will begin at 6 p.m. on July 11, at the Child Advocacy Services office located 1026 E. Worthey Rd., Suite C, Gonzales. If you are interested in participating in this training, contact or office at 225- 647-2005 or email kmcadams@childadv.net.
