Motion by Councilman Randy Anny and seconded by Councilman Milton Vicknair to approve the proposed 2011-2012 Budget ordinance 11-05.  Motion carried.  Vote as follows:

ORDINANCE #11-05

THIS ORDINANCE IS TO SET THE BUDGET OF THE GENERAL AND RESTRICTED ACCOUNTS FOR THE TOWN OF SORRENTO, STATE OF LOUISIANA FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD BEGINNING JULY 1, 2011 AND ENDING JUNE 30, 2012.

BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Town Council of the Town of Sorrento, that;

Section 1.  This budget reflects the best estimates of revenues and expenditures for the Town of Sorrento for the Town of Sorrento for the fiscal period beginning July 1, 2011, and ending June 30, 2012.

Section 2.  The following estimate of revenues and expenditures is hereby adopted to serve as the operating budget for the general and restricted funds of the Town of Sorrento for the fiscal period beginning July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2012.

This ordianance was introduced on May 26, 2011 by Councilman Randy Anny.  A public hearing was held on June 7, 2011, in accordance with the law.  Motion by Councilman Randy Anny and seconded by Councilman Milton Vicknair to adopt ordinance 11-05.  Motion carried.  Vote as follows:
