   Motion by Councilman Randy Anny and seconded by Councilman Marvin Martin to approve the minutes of the regular meeting of the mayor and council taken Thursday, November 4, 2010.   Motion carried.  Vote as follows:

PUBLIC NOTICE

Ascension Council on the Aging, Inc., a private non profit organization providing transportation services to elderly and disabled persons in Ascension Parish, Louisiana, intends to apply for a federal grant to be used for the purpose of acquiring specially equipped vehicles and equipment for use in transporting elderly and disabled persons who are unable to utilize existing public transit services.  Services will be generally between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, in the area encompassing Ascension Parish, Louisiana.  The grant would be used to replace existing equipment.  Ascension Council on the Aging, Inc. invites any interested public or private transit or Para transit operator within the service area to comment on the proposed services by sending a written response to:  Mr. Mike Watts, Elderly & Disabled Program Manager, LA Department of Transportation and Development, Public Transportation Section, Room 138/Airport, P.
