The city of Gonzales will hold its 19th Annual Tree Lighting Dec. 7 at 6 p.m.  at Gonzales City Hall, Jambalaya Park and the Gonzales Civic Center.


The City of Gonzales will hold its 19th Annual Tree Lighting Dec. 7 at 6 p.m.  at City Hall, Jambalaya Park and the Gonzales Civic Center.

The lights will be turned on at City Hall and Jambalaya Park promptly at 6 p.m.  Everyone is invited to walk around City Hall and the park and enjoy Christmas music and decorations.

Santa Claus will be at the Gonzales Civic Center giving a gift to all children, ages infant to 5th grade. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served. There will also be Jambalaya provided by the Jambalaya Festival Association.

Entertainment will be provided by “Center Stage Performing Arts Academy,” and the Girls Scouts Troops will be spreading good cheer as well.
