The Gonzales Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on Aug. 27 beginning around 8 p.m. and lasting into the morning hours, weather permitting.


The Gonzales Police Department will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint on Aug. 27 beginning around 8 p.m. and lasting into the morning hours, weather permitting.

Motorists should expect minimal delays and have drivers license, insurance and other papers available and ready if requested and stopped during the checkpoint.

The Gonzales Police Department will also have saturated patrols for impaired driving, seat belt enforcement and speed enforcement beginning Aug. 27 and running through the Labor Day holiday.
