Pig races, circus thrills, helicopter rides and more will be featured at the Bayou Fair April 30 - May 9.
Eager fairgoers can prepare for a fair at Lamar-Dixon Expo Center that will feature rides, circus thrill shows, pig races, unusual commercial exhibitors, and great fair food.
Universal Fairs, host of 14 nationwide world class fairs and festivals is bringing a safe, fun, family fair to Louisiana and the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center, April 30 – May 9.
The fair is billed as a fun filled event for all ages;, and one bringing a wide variety of entertainment, attractions and food.
Opening April 30 and running for 10 days, the Down on the Bayou Fair expects to attract over 40,000 fair goers in 2010.

Admission is $8 for adults, youths age 5 - 12 are $5, and kids under 4 are free. The hours are Monday - Thursday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday noon to 10 p.m. Fair parking is $5.
