Holden Ourso of Gonzales and Morgan Gautreaux of Central were presented as king and queen of the 58th Annual Greater Baton Rouge Downtown Christmas parade Saturday, Dec. 13.


Holden Ourso of Gonzales and Morgan Gautreaux of Central were presented as king and queen of the 58th Annual Greater Baton Rouge Downtown Christmas parade Saturday, Dec. 13.


Ourso, 14, is the son of Randy and Nicole Ourso-Crawford, of Gonzales where he is an eighth grader at Central Middle School. He plays on the football team as center and middle linebacker, and also enjoys guitar playing and skateboarding.


Gautreaux,14, is the daughter of Central residents Barry and Karen Gautreaux and the grand-daughter of Barry and Peggy Gautreaux of Prairieville. She is an eighth grader at St. Alphonsus Catholic School, Greenwell Springs, where she is a cheerleader and a member of the girls basketball team. She is active in gymnastics and is also a member of the Baton Rouge Pink Panther All-Stars coached by Debbie Rounds.


The Duke was Mason LeBeau, 9, of Prairieville. He likes visiting his grandparents and opening presents.


The Dutchess was Madelynne Laird, 8, also of Prairieville. sheenjoys spending time with family at Christmas, doing for others and celebrating Jesus’ birthday.


The Prince was Terrance Vincent, 4, of Baton Rouge. He loves being with family and opening gifts from Santa under the tree.  


The Princess was Skye Taylor, 6, from Gonzales. She loves giving and receiving gifts at Christmas, going to church and making eggnog with her family.
