This year’s Gospel Fest is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at Bayou Plaquemine Waterfront Park, next to the Plaquemine Locks.

The lineup – admission free -- includes the Greater St. Mary Baptist Mass Choir, the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Mass Choir, solo artist Henry Stewart, and the Rev. Ricardo Handy and the Mount Zion No. 2 Intercity Baptist Church Choir.

Food booths will be available, but participants are asked to provide their own lawn chairs to respect the “no alcohol allowed” policy.
