BATON ROUGE – LSU Tiger football fans will have the chance to meet players, coaches and spirit team members during the program’s  annual football Fan Day.

The event is set for Sunday, Aug. 10 in the Exhibition Hall at the River Center in downtown Baton Rouge. Doors  open at 1:30 p.m.

This year’s event was moved to the River Center due to the re-surfacing of the turf in Tiger Stadium, according to university officials.

Fans will be able to meet Mike the Tiger and the LSU cheerleaders from 1:30 -2:30 p.m. The LSU football team, along with head coach Les Miles and his coaching staff, will be available for autographs and photos from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Fans can use the River Road entrance to gain access to the Exhibition Hall.

Once in the Exhibition Hall, the first 4,000 Tiger fans will be given Fan Day Gift Bags, which include an LSU football poster, a schedule card, a placard schedule poster and a schedule magnet. LSU posters and schedule cards will be made available to all fans coming to the event.
