ZACHARY – The Mental Health Association for Greater Baton Rouge held its 4th annual Mental Health Golf Classic Oct. 26 at Copper Mill Golf Course in Zachary.
Sponsors were Albemarle Foundation, Amedysis, Louisiana Lottery, Mid-South Insurance, Neighbors Federal Credit Union and Synergy Home Care. Beverages were provided by Coca-Cola Company, Mockler Beverage and River Road Coffee. Breakfast was provided by Oceans Healthcare and lunch was courtesy of Jeremy Palmer, CPA, L. L. C.
Donations were also received from Walmart. All monies raised go to support those with mental illness and substance addiction in our community.
The winning team members from Amedysis were Jeremy Rogers, Michael Carrier, Andy Bush and Thim Chalas.
The tournament committee consisted of Scott Shaheen, Jenny Ridge, Melissa Silva, Marcy Jarreau, Frances and Charles Bennett, Fran Reeher, Mike Wascom and Grace Bielkiewicz.
