BATON ROUGE – St. Amant held Christian Life (0-1) to under 10 points in each quarter on way to a 51-27 victory in the season opener for both teams.
The Lady Gators extended an 11-6 lead to 24-12 at halftime before going into the final frame ahead 40-20.
Bria Turner led St. Amant (1-0) with 11 points, while KK Acy added eight, Haley Jara provided six, Katrina Ledoux and Kaitlin McClure each had five, Kandace Boudreaux, Chelsea Robertson, Nicole Rideman each had four and Brooke DeVeer and Haley Lavigne both added two.
