Caroline Glynn, 7, of Prairieville played in her first golf tour this past winter and won Player of the Year in her age group for the 2008 U.S. Kids Local Winter Tour. Glynn played in the 2009 Pepsi Little People's Golf Championship, the third largest junior golf championship in the world June 22-24 and placed third after a sudden death playoff in her ever first international tournament. She tied for second place after the first and second rounds with scores of 40 and 39. The daughter of Jamie and Kendra Glynn, Caroline is coached by her father who discovered that she had a natural swing while hitting golf balls in the backyard.
