The Gonzales Dolphins cruised by C.B. Pennington Thursday behind three triple winners and seven double winners at the City of Gonzales’ Jambalaya Park pool.

D.J. Rigdell, 18, led the way for the Dolphins winning the 100-yard individual medley in 1:09.15, the 50-yard backstroke in 31.34 and the 50-yard breaststroke in 32.47.

Madison Anderson, 10, also was a triple winner claiming the 100-yard individual medley in 1:26.70, the 25-yard butterfly in 17.41 and the 25-yard freestyle in 15.20.

Adelaide Gaffney, 8, was the last triple winner placing first in the 100-yard individual medley in 1:42.88, the 25-yard butterfly in 22.62 and the 25-yard freestyle in 18.27.

Trey Crews, 15, and Marshall Richard, 14, led double winners as each claimed both the 50-yard freestyle in 26.61 and the 50-yard butterfly 28.64 and 34.70, respectively.

Mason Hutchinson, 13, won both the 100-yard individual medley in 1:16.37 and the 50-yard butterfly in 32.60, while Kathryn Venable, 12, won the 100-yard individual medley in 1:28.94 and the 50-yard breaststroke in 38.28.

Lilly May, 11, was another double winner claiming the 50-yard backstroke in 38.17 and the 50-yard breaststroke in 44.17.

Elizabeth Winter, 8, and Joseph Miller, 6, were the other double winners with Winter winning the 25-yard backstroke in 23.01 and the 25-yard breaststroke in 22.66 and Miller claiming the 25-yard freestyle in 22.62 and the 25-yard backstroke in 29.39.

Individual winners included Shelby Gordon, 13, in the 50-yard backstroke (36.19); Caitlyn Thomas, 12, in the 50-yard freestyle (31.59); Miranda Nichols, 10, in the 25-yard breaststroke (22.09); and Cindy Ontiveros in the 25-yard backstroke (20.69).

McCall Blank, Trey Crews, Bridget Champagne and Spencer May also won the 15-18 mixed 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:51.09. while Chelsea Ghere, Mason Hutchinson, Marshall Richard and Claire Poche took the 13-14 mixed 200-yard freestyle relay in 2:11.83.

David Ferrell, Justin Reid, Lilly May, and Caitlyn Thomas won the 11-12 mixed 200-yard freestyle relay in 2:14.92 and Jacob Venable, Patrick Faulkner, Madison Anderson and Jordan Slater took the 9-10 100-yard relay in 1:05.55.

Alberto Ontiveros, Colin LeGrange, Adelaide Gaffney and Elizabeth Winter won the 7-8 mixed 100-yard freestyle relay in 1:23.55 and Joseph Miller, Ulrich Gaffney, Mae Babin, and Kendall Wilson won the 6U relay in 1:52.36.
