I don't usually write a letter to the editor,but I felt I had to this time, since our beloved governor and our legislature are sticking it to us. Our governor doesn't have the guts to veto the legislative pay raise bill. I voted for him last election, but I will vote for Blanco before I vote for him again.

And after studying the matter I found that Sen. Jody Amedee voted againstthe raise and our beloved Rep. Eddie Lambert voted for the raise.

I tried to contact Mr.  Lambert, but my e-mail was deleted without being read.
All I suggest to the citizens of Ascension Parish is remember these people in the next election.
