Bowles, Charley Oh
A 2002 graduate of East Ascension High School and a welder with Cooper T. Smith Inc., Charley Oh Bowles, 24, died Thursday, June 25, 2009, in Donaldsonville. He was a native of Tampa, Fla., and a resident of Gonzales. There will be a memorial gathering at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Tuesday, June 30, from 6 p.m. until services at 7:30 p.m.
Hodgeson, Carroll Ray “Son”
A resident and native of Gonzales, he died Saturday, June 27, 2009. He was 77. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired with 39 years of service from the SouthCentral Bell Telephone Co. as a cable splicer. Visitation at Ascension Baptist Church, 13432 Airline Highway, Gonzales, on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Burial in Lusk Cemetery.
