Hayes, Robert Dale “Rob”    
A retired machinist with Lawco Inc., Gonzales, he died Saturday, June 28, 2008, in St. Joseph. He was 70, a resident of Prairieville and native of El Dorado, Ark. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Tuesday, July 1, from 9 a.m. to noon. Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m., with the Rev. Eric Gyan, celebrant. Interment in False River Memorial Park, New Roads.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Perry, Denise Edler   
Denise Edler Perry, 81, passed away at 8:45 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge after a 37-year battle with COPD. She was a native of New Orleans and a 50-year resident of Chalmette in St. Bernard Parish until her relocation to Dutchtown in Ascension Parish following Hurricane Katrina. A graduate of McMain High School in New Orleans, she attended Our Lady of Holy Cross College. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 6367 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, on Tuesday, July 1, from 9 a.m. until funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens, Chalmette.
