A retired construction worker and a resident of Geismar, he died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, May 31, 2009, at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. He was 77 and a native of New Orleans. Interment Christian Assembly Cemetery, Gonzales.
Taylor, Velma Garnett
A retired short order cook and a resident of Donaldsonville, she died at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, May 31, 2009, at D’Ville House Nursing Home. She was 82 and a native of Smokebend.
Ulmer III, Fred David
He was 65 and died Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at his home in French Settlement. He served and defended hid country in the U.S. Navy. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
