The Parish President's Office, Finance Department and Grants Office will operate on an alternate schedule Monday, July 6 through Thursday, July 9 and will be closed on Friday, July 10, Ascension Parish Government said in a release.
The offices will open for extended hours from 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m., July 6-9.
Closure of those three offices on July 10 is necessary because of the installation of a permanent emergency generator behind the Parish Governmental Complex on Railroad Street, requiring the cutting of electrical power to the facility.
All other Ascension Parish offices and departments will operate on their normal schedules.
