BATON ROUGE –The body of an Ascension Parish man was found at the abandoned Swaggart dormitories on the corner of Bluebonnet Boulevard and Anselmo Street Sunday evening around 8:30 p.m., according to an East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office release.
Detectives responded to a call describing where the body was located, and discovered Casey Joseph Coco, 24, lying on the ground on the south side of the 12-story building.
According to the East Baton Rouge Parish coroner, the body appeared to have at the site for approximately two weeks.
Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office at 389-5000.
Detectives are treating this as a death investigation, pending the results of the autopsy report, the release said.
