United Community Bank (UCB) Chairman Gordon R. Crawford, recently announced the appointment of Mike Riche’ to Chief Executive Officer.

Riche’, who is a UCB Shareholder and Director, is also the President and CEO of Community Bank in Raceland, which is an affiliate of United Community Bank.  He will retain his position there as well. 

Riche’ has over 30 years of banking leadership experience.  He is a lifelong friend, mentor, and peer to UCB’s former President and CEO Paul Callais, whose memorial service was held July 11. 

“They share the same goals and direction for United Community Bank’s future.”  Crawford said. 

Riche' will work closely with the bank’s existing senior management team in order for the bank to move forward and continue to provide “big bank” products and technology with the high level of customer service that only a community bank can offer.
