Ashton Morgan Ford, 17, died Saturday, June 21, 2008, in a car accident. She was a native and resident of Gonzales and a senior at East Ascension High School. Interment in Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales. Ashton loved music, was on the East Ascension tennis team and was in the Enteract Club.

Johnson, Robby Joe
A self-employed contractor, a husband, a father, a son, a brother and a friend, he died Sunday morning, June 22, 2008, at his home in Prairieville. He was 45, a native of Tulsa, Okla., and a U.S. Navy veteran. Visiting at River of Life of French Settlement on Saturday, June 28, at 10 a.m. with religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Bobby Ready. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed LSU sports.

Kirby, Harold B.
A husband, dad, pawpaw, great-grandpaw and friend, he died at 12:40 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2008, at his home in Gonzales, surrounded by family, after a lengthy battle with lung disease. Interment in Hope Haven Cemetery, Gonzales. He was 69 and a native of Maringouin. A former employee of BASF Wyandotte, he was an independent newspaper distributor with The Advocate and The Denham Springs News, having served the north Denham Springs area for many years.

Lobell, Mae Rose Dupuy
A homemaker and a resident of French Settlement, she died Monday, June 23, 2008. She was 72 and a native of Bear Island. Visiting at St. Joseph Catholic Church, French Settlement, on Wednesday, June 25, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Reuben Reynolds, celebrant. Entombment in the St. Joseph Catholic Church  Mausoleum, French Settlement.
