LeBlanc’s Food Stores opened its newest store in Hammond Tuesday.
The 43,000-square-foot store is located at 2704 W. Thomas St. It is the eighth store for the local grocery chain, which has locations in Gonzales, Prairieville, Donaldsonville, Plaquemine, Plattenville, Walker and Zachary.
LeBlanc’s was founded in 1960 by L.C. LeBlanc. His grandsons, Marcy and Randy LeBlanc, currently own and operate the chain of stores.
