Kenneth Jones, AIA, GMB, has been inducted into the Louisiana Home Builder Association's Housing Hall of Fame.
Jones, owner of Jones Design/Builders, LLC of St. Francisville, has served as president of the Capital Region Builders Association in 1996 and 1998, and the Louisiana Home Builders Association in 2003. He was the first builder in Louisiana to earn the National Association of Home Builders Graduate Master Builder designation.
Jones was named CRBA Builder of the Year in 1998 and was inducted into the local's Hall of Fame in 2008. He serves on the State Licensing Board for Contractors and is the chairman of its Residential Sub Committee. He is a certified instructor for NAHB and has always been willing to share his knowledge as builder and architect, with other industry professionals.
Jones has had projects in Ascension, East Baton Rouge, and West Baton Rouge Parishes as well as state and nationwide.
The Housing Hall of Fame places in honor the men and women who have made notable contributions, enduring in nature, to the housing related industry, either in new or in reconstruction, and lasting contributions to the Louisiana Home Builders Association.
