Update, September 19: According to Chief Deputy Bobby Webre, autopsy reports reveal no signs of trauma to the body of 50-year-old Rickey Foster and 56-year-old Connie Bolen, both of Prairieville, who were found deceased in their Prairieville residence shortly before 3 p.m. on Monday, September 17.

All available evidence, as well as, both decedents’ next of kin statements clearly indicates a sad and tragic death due to ongoing addiction issues.

More will be known and verification will be obtained to further come to final conclusions as to the cause of their deaths. Toxicology results are still pending.

Original: Detectives with the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating after finding two people deceased inside a residence on Monday, September 17.

According to Chief Deputy Bobby Webre, deputies responded to 18014 Autumn View Drive, Autumn

View Apartments, in Prairieville shortly before 3 p.m. Monday afternoon in reference to a welfare check on two subjects. When deputies arrived on scene the two subjects were found deceased of unknown causes.

“There was no forced entry into the residence,” said Chief Deputy Webre.

The two were identified as 50-year-old Rickey Foster and 56-year-old Connie Bolen, both of Prairieville.

This case is still under investigation pending autopsy and toxicology reports.
