I know it's a lot of names, but as big as this thing was I would love to see them get recognized.

I just wanted to say that after reading the article last week, I felt like there was too much focus on me. That being said, a lot of people came together to make the police lunch possible. I'd like to say thank you to them all in a letter.

(This next part, I apologize, was dictated to me over the phone, and I may have misspelled a name or three, Greg Fischer)

First, our sponsors, Jack Duplessis and Farm Bureau Insurance; Lane Gautreau with Layne's Jewelry, Jimmy Boyce; Bobby and Sue Giles, and "The Gang of Good for Nothings," Donald Duplessis, Jeff Daniels, Patrick Gomez, Jeff Williams Scott Braniat, Brian Thompkins.

The Sheriff's Department we want to thank Bobby Webre and Sheriff Wiley for allowing us to do it again. We also had Tony Tureau helping, Jeff LaGrange, Shane Canon, T.J. Gaulf, Steven Decateau, and Milton Cayette.

From there, Ted Cox. Terry and Sherry Breaux, Kenny and Roxanne Barras, Ryan Kliebert, Tommy Larose, Norma Cazenave, Mark Babin, Deidre Breaux Hawkins. Last was Ashley Trabeau.

I know it's a lot of names, but as big as this thing was I would love to see them get recognized. I would also like to thank you for coming out and being a part of it, for putting a little spotlight on it. Put something on there for yourself there too, buddy.

It was a great job! I just like giving credit where credit's due and these people did a fantastic job.

Sincerely,

"Uncle" Mike Jagneaux
