Red T-Shirts with the black jambalaya pot emblem on the upper left side, were in full view, as Chapter 1449 members helped to bring joy and smiles to the clients of the ARC.

On April 19, 2018, clients of the ARC, gathered at the Knights of Columbus Hall, in Gonzales to celebrate their spring dance with a Hawaiian theme. Red T-Shirts with the black jambalaya pot emblem on the upper left side, were in full view, as Chapter 1449 members helped to bring joy and smiles to the clients of the ARC.

Some members arrived early to help decorate. Other members registered clients and guests as they entered the building, and presented each participant with a lei. Some members assisted with food service. Some members helped the photographer, while other members remained late to help clean and pack items that needed to be stored.

Ralph’s Supermarket donated the cake. It was both, beautifully decorated and delicious. The ARC sent a note of thanks to Chapter 1449 to express their appreciation for the help volunteers provided. AARP Chapter 1449 is a service-oriented organization.
