Leesville defeated Pickering at home to open up the 2018 regular season behind three RBIs from Jonathan Harmon.

The Wampus Cats scored four runs in the first inning of off two singles, an error and a fielder's choice.

Pickering made it 4-1 on a ground ball by Ashton Fritts that scored Brady Rome with no outs in the second inning.

In the second inning, Leesville added five more, scoring on two errors, a 2-run single by Harmon and a fielder's choice to make it 9-1.

Pickering scored a run in the third and two in the fifth, but the deficit was too much to overcome as Leesville won 14-4.

Sabian Matuu went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI, while Eli Dupree knocked in a pair of runs for Leesville.

Fritts finished the game with two RBIs.
