The sheriff's office is seeking information about Tumas's whereabouts on Thursday night.

APSO reports today the mysterious death of 44-year-old Brian Tumas, who resided on Courtyard Drive in Pelican Point.

The sheriff's office is seeking information about Tumas's whereabouts on Thursday night. He was last seen by a family member at home around 8 p.m., Thursday.

Deputies arrived on a response to Courtyard Drive on Friday, November 3 at 4:45 a.m. to "a male lying in the street with apparent signs of trauma to the body," according to the APSO press release.

Tumas was found not far from his residence.

Tumas was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.

APSO is seeking information for the death investigation. They are reaching out to the community for help.
