During the week of July 17-21, the following defendants pled guilty to various charges and were sentenced in the 23rd Judicial District Court, Parishes of Ascension, Assumption and St. James.

Ascension Parish

Ashley Messina, 916 E Hamilton St., Gonzales, 37, pled guilty to Theft Valued at $5,000 or More but Less than $25,000. She was sentenced to three years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on four years supervised probation.

Travis Darville, 12371 Deck Blvd., Geismar, 41, pled guilty to Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to five years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on four years supervised probation.

Chaise Curtis, 12371 Deck Blvd., Geismar, 34, pled guilty to Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance and was sentenced to five years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on four years supervised probation.

Adam Simoneaux, 6139 La. 952 Jackson, 27, pled guilty to Unauthorized Entry of an Inhabited Dwelling and was sentenced to three years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections with credit for time served, to be suspended, and placed on three years supervised probation.
