The eighth grade graduating class of St. Theresa Middle gathered May 23, 2017 in the St. Theresa of Avila Church for the commencement ceremony.

Pastors, Mrs. Chris Musso, and Mrs. Kim Naquin presented awards and diplomas to the students.

The Woodmen of the World Award, presented to the student with the highest average in social studies, went to Claire Callais.

The St. Michael the Archangel Foundation Scholarship Award went to Collin Hebert.

The Jeffrey Louviere Academic Award was presented to the student with the highest overall average through the elementary grades. Cameron Morin was the recipient.

Austin Savoy and Clare Duplessis received the Jamie Marie Daigle Spirit Award.

Joshua Marrero and Addison Didier received the Brett M. Frederic and Brett G. Leggette Memorial Award, which is given to two student athletes, one boy and one girl, with the highest overall grade point averages.

The Eatel Award, given to students having the second highest score for Christian Service, went to Maggie Decoteau and Blain Seale.

The Mary Beth Daigle Sotile Award for Christian Service, presented to the students having the highest score for Christian service, went to Claire Callais and John Johnson.

A reception sponsored by the seventh grade was held in the gym after the graduation ceremony.
