Gov. John Bel Edwards announced his appointments to several Louisiana boards and commissions, including the Ascension and St. James Airport and Transportation Authority.

The Ascension-St. James Airport and Transportation Authority is a public corporation and is authorized to perform in its corporate capacity all acts necessary and proper for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, maintaining and operating Louisiana Regional Airport. As required by statute, all appointments were nominated by a legislator representing Ascension or St. James Parish.

Doyle M. Philippe, of Gonzales, was reappointed to the Ascension-St. James Airport and Transportation Authority. Philippe is a retired general contractor and will continue to serve as an at-large representative.

Richard A. Webre, of Gonzales, was appointed to the Ascension-St. James Airport and Transportation Authority. Webre is the director of the Ascension Parish Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness and will serve as a representative of Ascension Parish.

Roger D. Keese, of Gonzales, was reappointed to the Ascension-St. James Airport and Transportation Authority. Keese is a retired economics specialist for Shell Chemical Company and will serve as a representative of Ascension Parish.

George J. Rodeillat, of Donaldsonville, was reappointed to the Ascension-St. James Airport and Transportation Authority Board of Commissioners. Prior to retiring in 2015, Rodeillat worked for Ascension Parish and will serve as a representative of Ascension Parish.
