Class of 1978 East Ascension High School Big 50 Birthday Bash will be Saturday, June 12, from 6 p.m.-until at the home of Kathy Berthelot Mowery, 44067 LaCoulee Rd., St. Amant. Jambalaya will be served. Participants are asked to bring a covered dish or a dessert. Also bring your own ice chest with drinks and lawn chairs. Sorry, no children are allowed to attend.

A Memorial Day program has been set for 11 a.m. Monday, May 31in Gonzales by the Veterans Memorial Park Committee.
