Gonzales area students will participate in Center Stage Performing Arts Academy’s summer musical ‘Before and Beyond: A Salute to Musical Theatre” in July.
They will perform numbers from classic Broadway shows such as Annie, Cinderella, Wizard of Oz, Oklahoma, Crazy for You and more as Center Stage revisits past shows.
The second act will show a glimpse of Center Stage’s future with numbers from current Broadway shows such as Legally Blonde, Hairspray, Wicked and Shrek.
The cast includes Austin Babin, Raphael Barges, Breanna Collier, Dustin Delaune, Matthew Deloch, C.J. Donaldson, Anna Ferrell, Elizabeth Garrard, Emily Gyan, Devin Holloway, Hally Lambert, Claire Legnon, Omega Lewis, Catherine Mahan, Jazzmine Nelson, Madeline Ringwald, Christy Saia, Lindey Sanamo, Austen Schexnaydre, Emily Schexnaydre, Alivia Sylvester, T.J. Thigpen, Luc’ Tuminski and Lauren Waguespack, along with 30 other local students.
Performances at Dutchtown High School are July 9-12 and 16-19.
