    DUTCHTOWN 10, ST. AMANT 0 -- The Griffins posted six runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to defeat District 5-5A rival St. Amant in five innings.
    Troy Lewis allowed the Gators only two hits.
    Robbie Pordosky finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs, while Connor Bourque went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI for the Griffins, who improved to 16-9 and 5-1 in 5-5A fare.
    Maddison Nickens and Tyler Gonzalez had one run apiece for St. Amant, which dropped to 14-12 and 4-2 in district play.
    DTHS broke a scoreless game with three runs in the bottom of the third. The Griffins scored a run in the bottom of the fifth to end the game.
    Dutchtown visits East Ascension on Thursday. St. Amant travels to Woodlawn.
    ST. AMANT 16, WOODLAWN 0 -- Gabrielle Felps and Allison Hope each smacked home runs to power the Lady Gators to a shut out in three innings.
    St. Amant improved to 24-2 and 6-0 in District 5-5A action.
    The Lady Gators piled 10 urns in the top of the first and added another six in the second frame.
    Felps had four RBIs and Hope finished with two .
    Kasey Nielson pitched for SAHS.
    St. Amant hosts Catholic-New Iberia on Thursday and visits East Ascension on Tuesday.
